Welcome to the 2024 So Cal Disc Golf Club's Year-End Fun Round and Awards Banquet!

We’ve had an amazing year of disc golf in Southern California and it’s time to honor the players who excelled in each division. And to thank the tournament directors and volunteers who made it all happen. Our tradition in So Cal has been to hold an event that begins with a fun round of disc golf and segues to an awards banquet and club meeting. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, December 14th, 2024. The “fun round” as we like to call it will be held at Whittier Narrows Disc Golf Course in South El Monte. And the awards banquet and club meeting will be held at La Jara Brewing Company. (details below)

Check in for the fun round at Whittier Narrows will begin at 11am on 12/14/2024 and the shotgun start round will begin at 12pm. It’s a singles stroke play round. There’s no cash payout, but the cool thing about the fun round is that EVERYONE WHO PLAYS WINS A PRIZE! Prizes will be distributed at the awards banquet.

If you can't make to to the fun round, that's okay. We have a separate registration tier for golfers who only want to attend the awards banquet. Please make sure that you select the correct division when you register. You may register for BOTH the fun round and awards banquet. Or for the banquet ONLY.
Important note: registering for the awards banquet gets you dinner, but you'll need to buy beer if you want. Luckily, La Jara Brewing has plenty of great beers to choose from.

The So Cal DGC’s 2024 series awards banquet and club meeting will be held at La Jara Brewing Company. The address is 13423 Excelsior Dr, Norwalk, CA 90650. The awards banquet will begin at 5pm, but we’re asking for help from members to set up beginning at 4:30pm. We’ll be handing out awards to the top finishers in each division that competed in the So Cal Series, recognizing the series’ TDs and volunteers, distributing prizes from the fun round, handing out the first wave of invitations to the T. Ske CA Cup NorCal vs. SoCal Team Tournament, and holding a So Cal Disc Golf Club Membership Meeting to vote in the 2025 Board of Directors and address any other important issues. Your entry fee covers a catered taco buffet.
