About this tournament

Ace Race has returned, and with it the largest Super Event East of the Mississippi at South Mountain Park in Bethlehem, PA!
When:
Saturday October 19th, 2024 - Check in between 8:30 and 10am, then enjoy a single round of mob-style Ace Race golf throwing 2 shots (optional 3rd "Throw Your Own" challenge) off each temporary tee
Format:
One round of no less than 21 holes with two throws (3 with Throw Your Own) per hole per player.
Course layout:
We will utilize mostly temporary tee pads with some temporary pin placements. The average hole length in 2019 was ~110ft.
Entry fee: $40, $65 with hole sponsorship or FUNdraiser T-shirts
Player package:
All 2024 players will receive two identical Discraft prototype discs made especially for this year's Ace Race, plus a premium disc golf towel, enamel pin and 2 mini market discs. A $75+ value, and all included with your $40 entry fee!
Rules of play:
Players are required to use the player package discs, and only these discs. Each player will throw both discs (and their throw your own if playing the side game) before leaving the tee pad. If a disc is lost, the player has the option of using the second disc from the package or purchasing any remaining player pack discs.
All players will have their own scorecards and mark "A" for aces (a hole-in-one) and "M" for holes on which they hit metal. Holes with multiple baskets/targets where both a metal and ace are hit, both will be counted. Only a single metal will be counted in the event an Ace is not hit.
After all players in the group have thrown, discs are picked up and the group moves directly to the next tee.
The player with the most aces after 42+ shots is declared the winner. In case of ties, the number of metal hits is used as a tie breaker. If a tie persists, a closest to the pin contest is then used to determine the event winner.
Prize package:
2024 Prizes for each event include:
-Grand Prize: Chainstar Lite basket, Tournament backpack, SuperColor winners disc, graffiti towel and lanyard.
- Female winner: Chainstar Lite basket, Redfeather backpack, SuperColor winners disc, other prizes
- Junior Winner: Chainstar Lite basket, Redfeather backpack, SuperColor winners disc, other prizes
Basket as part of Grand Prize requires at least 100 players

NEUS Disc Golf is responsible for all refunds/cancellations.
Once player pack is ordered for a specific registration, registrant will only receive player pack. Donation portion of registration is non-refundable once registration is submitted.
