About this tournament

The 2024 PDGA UNITED STATES AMATEUR DISC GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP is a PDGA Major. To register, you must be a current 2024 PDGA member and a PDGA Certified Rules Official whose certification expires after June 9, 2024 (see Competition Manual 1.01.B.1 and Table 1 of the PDGA Tour Standards). A Certified Rules Official is a current PDGA member who has passed the PDGA Certified Rules Official Exam https://www.pdga.com/rules/exam and registered as an official with the PDGA. If you are a Certified Rules Official, it will be noted, along with the expiration date of your certification, on your Player Profile page.
All PDGA Amateur Majors are True Amateur Events. True Amateur events present only trophies to the top finishers of the tournament, and all players in the event receive equal value through player packs and other tournament amenities (see Competition Manual 2.05).
This is an invitation only event based on player eligibility and qualification. Players who qualify for the event will receive an email invitation from the PDGA notifying you of your ability to register.
QUALIFICATION: Players must meet the following eligibility requirements as well as the tiered minimum PDGA ratings to qualify for this event. Players must have been a current PDGA member during 2023 and have had a rated round during 2023, and the player’s current rating must be made up of at least 6 rated rounds. Players meeting these qualifications as well as their current rating meeting the minimum rating threshold after the February, March, or April Ratings updates will receive invitations.
INVITATION SCHEDULE: Invitation emails will be sent out after each of the following ratings updates any corrections or TD updates have been finalized. Players must meet the qualifications above as well as meet the rating thresholds shown below:
February Ratings Update: Players rated 970+
March Ratings Update: Players rated 950+
April Ratings Update: Players rated 940+
If you believe you have qualified yet have not been contacted, please make sure you have your correct email with the PDGA. Please check your SPAM folder in your email account. If your PDGA email address is correct and your invite is not in you SPAM folder, you should then send me a message as soon as possible.
All three rounds of the event will be held at the world famous Toboggan Course in Kensington Metropark in Milford Michigan.

DGLO Qualifier: The winner of the USADGC will qualify for the DGPT Elite+ event taking place at the Toboggan Course in September: DGLO. Only two MPO spots will be given throughout the year to qualifiers, with one of those spots going to this event winner. If the event winner is already registered/qualified, the spot will fall to the next highest finisher not already qualified or registered.
All refunds will be assessed with a $10 fee.
The PDGA does require player identity verification process at its Major events. The PDGA will have staff on hand at check-in to monitor this guideline. More information can be found here https://www.pdga.com/policy/identity-verification.
Take on Paige Pierce and Team Discraft Manager Bob Julio at the Toboggan Course and try to beat their score. First Place Team (Each Player) wins a Chainstar Lite. Teams that beat Paige and Bob's score will also get prizes. Contest is only open to USADGC Players and their Caddies. This will be a flex start doubles event. Sign up will be during check in Thursday at Holdens.
