About this tournament

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A TWO-DAY TOURNAMENT

For the first time ever, Chapel Hill Disc Golf is hosting a two-day tournament for maximum disc golf experience while also keeping in mind player safety and well-being! In some of our other tournaments, we have held two rounds of 26 holes in one day and players were exhausted by the end of it. To help fix this, we have split the tournament as a whole into three rounds of 13 holes.

On the first day, we will play two rounds on the Chapel Hill Blue Layout (13 holes) with tee times separated by approximately 3.5 hours. After the first day, there will be a cut to 65 players (if necessary) and there will be a shotgun start on the Chapel Hill Gold Layout in the afternoon.

TEE TIMES: You will be grouped with other players in your division and you will receive a tee time for Rounds 1 and 2. Both of these groupings will be the same and will tee off approximately 3.5 hours apart. This timespan could change depending of number of players registered, so keep an eye out for a final email regarding tee times closer to the tournament date! Because of tee times, we will not be accepting any day-of registrations.

PROS: Cash will be added as sponsorships roll in. Keep on eye on the Chapel Hill DGC Facebook page for more info as this happens!

AMATEURS: $45 registration will cover a t-shirt, tournament-stamped disc from Thought Space Athletics, and other goodies that might end up in player's packs. All payouts will be in special TSA tournament-stamped discs.

JUNIORS: $35 registration will cover your t-shirt, disc, and a smaller payout depending upon division size.

ACE POT: If multiple aces are hit, the pot will be split between those who bought in. If no aces are hit, half of the ace pot will help add cash to payouts with the remainder going towards course upkeep and maintenance costs! Please note that ALL holes are now eligible for the ace pot (previous tournament had one hole excluded).

CTPs: Every tournament we run always has a huge backing from our local disc dyeing brands and disc golf shops. We will have multiple discs provided by hole sponsors for CTP prizes. These will be available for the Saturday rounds on the Chapel Hill Blue Layout.

Refund policy

Chapel Hill Disc Golf is responsible for all refunds/cancellations. Refunds after registration closes will be partial refunds.
