Players: A few updates here as I have mostly dealt with via email instead of here and I apologize about not responding here:

Player Pack Missing Items: The majority of player packs are shipped as of last Tuesday the 9th; many have started to arrive, and the rest are in transit. There are approximately 200 packs that are not shipped due to address errors, those players will receive a call directly from our shipper Miles T Shirts to correct them and get them out ASAP. I will be emailing those that do not respond to calls as soon as I get that list returned. Tracking numbers seem to be hit/miss on hitting your emails but they are moving and if you have UPS address notifications set up you may have gotten it that way.

I have sent a email to all players with this general information as well on 12/13/2021 from [email redacted] you can respond to that email if you are missing items and I will work to correct that ASAP.

Payouts: Are all issued, multiple emails have gone out from the same email address above over the month and a half. If you are still having issues or have any issues with payouts, please email me at [email redacted] and I will work to correct asap.

As you can imagine my inbox has been very busy the last month and a half and I have worked to try and either address directly for one off issue or has been addressed via a mass email to players. It is possible I have missed or overlooked an email you sent to myself or [email redacted] and I apologize for that. If you still have any issues that need to be addressed, please email me at [email redacted].

Please note, I am not able to respond 24/7 and respond as soon as I am able to, so please have some patience as it could be 48+ hours before I am able to get caught up and respond to your specific email.

What is the malfunction? Honestly, you guys hyped this player pack many of us traveled on planes to get there, telling us you might need to bring an extra bag for this awesome player pack. I get there and get a box I had to throw away because I was flying back home. The valuation of the box at 20 and say the poison oak cream valued at 60 dollars is ludicrous. I wait in line after a long day of disc golf for two hours to to confirm my address AGAIN, get an email 3 weeks ago to re-confirm my address AGAIN. After the two hour wait get a disc that I will never throw and a book on how to grow weed. We are heading on to week 6 after the tourney was complete. Get it together. Send our players pack.

It has been 5+ weeks since the tourney and all we have is a vague email. Here we are 3 weeks removed from that email and still nothing received.
This has been a frustrating experience to say the least concerning the packs. From being over promised to being massively under delivered and the vague responses (not from the TD himself) because they don't have clear answers.
Blame is on the TD, not everyone here trying to give answers.

Amateur scrip payout should really be made available on the NADGT Infinite store, same as with all the NADGT qualifying events I've participated in. With the very small time window given to use the scrip and the extremely limited selection at the pro shop (at least when I went to collect my player pack), it just seems like the right thing to do. Personally, I was playing the USDGC doubles qualifying event at the time that payouts were posted and didn't finish my round until 5:30. Saw the payouts text at 5:45, with no time to get to the pro shop from Red Rock by 6.

Hey all,
I just wanted to write a review of this event overall. This tournament was the biggest event that I have attended thus far. The experience of this event is something that I will never forget and always remember. Due to the time of year and this being the second held Championships of NADGT, I would say that the event was a good experience. A couple of minor complications and annoyances came up but overall, the event was something that I would recommended disc golfers trying. I only want to address some of the negative experiences to try and not take away from the event as a whole.

The cons

Timeframes and updates took longer than I would have liked.
Players packs were ok and they should have been somewhat similar for everyone.
The players buffer for each division was unnecessary.
Communication could have been more fluid.

The positives

Awesome booths and great to see pros at these booths.
Well managed tee times and course upkeep.
Friendly staff members.
Pro shop was set up well and had a large amount to choose from.
The food trucks were a great idea and so was the morning snacks.
The random events and Live oaks brewing was a great place to hang out.

If you haven't gone and are thinking about it next year, I would say sign up and have fun. This event is only going to improve and get better.

To the NADGT, the courses and competition was a great experience. I appreciated the ability to change out any discs (in players pack) that I didn't want. The food truck idea didn't work. As many others have said, I just took care of myself and the snacks at check in would be just fine. As far as the payouts issues I can't speak to as I did not perform good enough to earn anything. Regarding the quality of the player pack (I totally didn't come to Austin for that - but for the competition), I think many people who play a lot of tournaments have probably received multiples of a lot of things in their player packs, so not a big deal for me. Good forum here to voice appreciation (where deserved) and critical feedback and see how "leadership" takes the feedback and make better next time.

Food trucks. I thought, oh cool, food at every course. I had the food truck the first day. The rest were probably there after I left everyday. But no biggie, I've been feeding myself my whole life.
The ma3 division, I feel alot of people should have been in ma2, but there were already a ton of people in ma2, so it is what it is. The met center, I'd say skip it next time and just have live oak as the central location. Live oak was set up great. Too much driving all over the place. The courses I played, signage was great. The courses looked great. Fun to play. The snacks in The morning were good enough for me. Overall, as many people as there were with all the locations, it went smooth enough. Hard to Please this many people. I can see the amount of time and work that went into this. All the way down to the mulch added on the courses. I think it was a good first experience for me. As I get better, maybe my views will change. But for now I'm going to work on my game and planning for next year. Didn't play well. But had fun and learned a ton. This is all coming from someone with one tournament played before this.

To all the players and most of the course directors you all were great and competition fun. To the leadership you fell so short it’s hard to even say you did poor. The quality of prize and players pack was worse than any local tournament In most of our states. The lack of ownership and lack of apology’s show how heartless you are. Forcing a payout at a shit (pro) shop with Limited choices is unacceptable. You could have gave us pizza every day and used the money from food trucks that did not work for accrual prizes. I could go on but you fell so short and I went from excited and honored to feeling tricked and trapped. I’m sure word will get out with over 1500 players spreading the word. This red bag takes the cake. Not even a embroidered logo from your shitty tournament. Middle fingers up!
