I would like to welcome you to the 2016 Tim Selinske US Masters presented by INNOVA Champion Discs. On behalf of the Delta Windjammers Disc Golf Club and myself, let me say we are excited to host this tournament and bring it back to California. The dates are September 9th through September 11, 2016.

My name is Craig “Krash” Gustafson, PDGA# 25452, and I feel fortunate to be the Tournament Director for this year’s event. We have a Co-TD, Brian Lafferty, PDGA# 80456. Brian has a huge passion and love for disc golf and is dedicated to providing the most enjoyable and professional tournament possible. We enjoy the honor of providing what we hope will be a great tribute to Tim Selinske.

Tim Pasisz of Visit Stockton, is the driving force in landing US Masters in Stockton. We are excited to partner with this organization to provide you with an epic tournament and show you the wonderful hospitality and offerings in Stockton.

Danny Corbett, of OTB, is our Merchandise Director. Danny’s years of experience and industry contacts have proven invaluable. Danny has been diligently working with all manufacturers to bring awesome value to this tournament. Innova Champion Discs, our title sponsor, has gone beyond our expectations to bring exceptional value to all players.

You will be playing three courses; two at Oak Grove Regional Park will be set with a total of 37 permanent and 3 temporary holes, and one at Lockeford Springs Golf Course that is an 18 hole layout. We are excited to show off our courses and set them up for our Masters family.

Kenny Lee, PDGA# 14204, is leading our course design and setup team. Not only is Kenny a past president of the Windjammers, he also has the most professional wins in our club with over 100 and counting. He, along with our top NorCal pros, will be collaborating to make these courses very special.

You will play three rounds before a cut is made. Each Pool will either play two shotgun rounds Friday and one tee time round Saturday or vice-versa. After Saturdays rounds, a cut will be made with the top qualifiers playing one final round at Oak Grove Regional Park Sunday with tee times.

The Amateur side of this event is Trophy ONLY based on PDGA guidelines for a True Amateur event. More information can be found at http://www.pdga.com/true-amateur-guidelines .Basically, we will provide a weekend you will not forget!!

Our host hotel is the University Plaza Waterfront Hotel, located on Stockton’s waterfront at 110 W Fremont St here in Stockton. This hotel is next to our arena and minor league ballpark (Class A Oakland Athletics affiliate), walking distance to our downtown entertainment district and a short drive to the Miracle Mile with a great selection of shopping, restaurants and bars.
