Hello and welcome to the 18th Annual Black Fly Fling powered by Disc Farm!
Hosted at the beautiful Tom Thompson Park, South River is excited for the return of the disc golfers and to highlight their town.
We are thrilled to bring you a PDGA C-tier event with min. $350 added cash for Pro payouts with sponsorships coming in to help build that number. Will be updating the added cash as it grows.
We are focused on paying homage to the heritage this course and tournament has brought to the disc golf community. We will be going to the old tournament layout of 20 holes at Tom Thompson Park. With traditional OBs and Mandos in play. You will be provided with a map that will outline these details for those new to the course.
We will be aiming to have a standard shotgun start but if not possible due to Covid restrictions we will be moving to a tee times layout and be updating the players with ample time before to plan for a revised schedule.
Dinner will be catered by Algonquin Motel! In years prior they have stole the show with their amazing homemade cuisine and catering. Always going the extra mile for the guest. Once registration is complete we will be reaching out and making a list of any dietary needs and menu of items available.
Pro payouts are 100% with added cash.
Am merch outs will be 20%- 40% depending on additional sponsorships.
Am players packs are going to be close if not the value of registration!
I want to say that the team bringing you this event is purely focused on player experience and giving back to the registrants. This is NOT a for profit tourney. Everything in will be doled out to players and more. We may hold a silent auction to raise monies for new tee pads at the course and help the club upgrade.
