Welcome to the 13th Annual Wishard Memorial!
TIMES:
All times listed will be CST (Central Standard Time)
LAYOUTS:
MPO/MA1 will play from the long tees
Everyone else will play from short tees
Last year, the long layout scored at -3 = 1000 rated and played as the toughest layout in South Dakota to achieve 1000 rating
SOUTH DAKOTA PARKS:
The course being played is Oahe Downstream which is part of the South Dakota Parks Department. A pass is required to bring your vehicle inside the park. A yearly pass or day pass can be purchased at https://gfp.sd.gov/pel/ or by stopping into the main office building as you come into the park. If you don't buy a pass and have it in your car when parked, you will receive a ticket of over $100 from the parks department. Please make sure you are covered there.
PARKING:
Parking is available by tournament central and in the parking lot to the east of hole 20.
TOURNAMENT CENTRAL:
The main shelter by the parking lot will be tournament central. This is where players must check in, player meeting, lunch, and awards will take place.
CTP'S:
CTP's will be donated by DAKM4 Disc Golf and a $5 cash CTP will be available to everyone who buys in through registration.
ACE POT:
Players who buy in to the $5 ace pot will win 100% of the pot if they hit an ace. (Must buy in before round 1 begins and multiple aces will share 100% of pot) If no ace is hit, everyone who bought in to ace pool will throw to a basket after the second round. If someone aces this basket they win 100% of pot. If no ace is hit CTP will win 50% of pot with other 50% being donated to the Wishard family for the meal.
RESTROOMS:
There are two vault toilets, one located near tournament central and another by the short teepad of holes 19 and 20. There is also a full men's and women's restroom by the teepad of hole 21 and near the basket of hole 12.
VENDING:
DAKM4 Disc Golf will be vending and prizing out amatuer winnings. The Swag Shoppe will also be vending and supplying shirts, towels, and other items with custom printing.
LUNCH:
Lunch will be served by the Wishard family with a free will donation. INDIAN TACOS!!! Please help support the family, they do a lot of prep work for this meal hours before anyone arives. Please 1 plate per player until everyone has been served.
SPECIAL PROMOTION:
All women who do not have a PDGA membership will not have to pay the $15 non-member fee for this tournament as its part of the PDGA Womens Global Event.
PLAYER PACK:
All amateurs will receive a custom stamp chalk bag from Sammi's Stitches and a $30 voucher to The Swag Shoppe. A $38 value
TROPHIES:
Trophies will only be ordered for divisions that have 2 or more competitors signed up before May 1st. Female divisions will be the exception to this.
