A 10 week PDGA League that spans (5) of the most popular courses in Austin. This series will also raise money for the Austin Parks Foundation for projects at Circle C, Zilker and Roy G. Each round/day has a $10 entry plus additional plus additional course fees and an optional ace pot.
Mondays: Circle C - Short Boxes (all divisions) w/ Disc Nation
Tuesdays: Zilker - Standard layout (all divisions) w/ Another Round
Wednesday: Sprinkle Valley - Mixed layout (all divisions) w/ Mint Discs
Thursday: Live Oak Brewing - Standard layout w/ Mint Discs
Friday: Roy G - Short Boxes (all divisions) w/ Disc Nation
Ace Pot Details
$5 per player. Starts at $1000. The ace pot will roll over to to the next course each day, with no CAP and a $1000 backup. Once the initial ace pot is hit, we will cap it at $1000 and start filling up another backup.
Course Layouts:
We are playing short boxes at most courses. Why? Summer Heat, Pace of Play, and the shared ace pot.
Austin Parks Foundation(Roy G, Zilker and Circle C):
$2 per player at Circle C, Zilker and Roy G will be donated to the Austin Parks Foundation funds for these courses to benefit disc golf projects. This donation will be made on behalf of local disc golfers through the Central Texas Disc Golf Alliance.
Greens Fees(Live Oak and Sprinkle Valley):
$5 per play at Live Oak and Sprinkle Valley per week.
Payout:
Weekly for all divisions. No rollover. Pros via Paypal & AM's via Gift Card.
Earn League Points(daily, per course):
1 league day = 1 point
1st Place = 3 points
2nd Place = 2 points
3rd Place = 1 point
How to Win the City Championship (by Division):
Most Total Points - all courses.
Tie Breaker for Overall.
Best average of 3 rounds on each course. If a player fails to play 3 rounds on each course, they lose the tie breaker automatically.
Other League Awards (by Division)
Most Total Points - per course (Trophy). 1st place only
Lowest Average Score - per course (Trophy Bag Tag). Best 3 rounds at each course. 1st place only.
