AMATEUR POINT SERIES overview
Points from all 6 JSPS events count towards the standings
All AM entry fees (minus tournament costs + $125 per event for CJO) will go towards Point Series
Points are earned from Participation Points + Beat points + Podium points
POINTS EXPLAINED
Participation Points
5 points for playing and finishing
Beat Points
1 point for every person you beat in your division (not including yourself)
Podium Points
1st place in division = players in division multiplied by .6
2nd place in division= players in division mutiplied by .4
3rd place in division= players in division multiplied by .2
If participation is similar to 2025 we will payout cash to a similar amount of places. This year we will "flatten out" payouts with the max a Series winner can win is $100 in series vouchers. This will pay more to top finishers that didn't win. Final amount of players to be paid per division will be based on participation and will be finalized after Event 4.

MA1 10 players
MA2 10 players
MA50 8 players
MA3 21 players
(There are no events played minimums for ams to qualify)
PRO POINT SERIES overview
Each event will have standard pro cash payouts using the entry fee minus $4 ($3 to CJO and $1 to the Pro playoffs (Event 6))
Points are earned during the first 5 events in the Point Series
Minimum of 2 events played to qualify for the playoffs (Event 6)
Points are earned from Participation Points + Beat points + Podium points
Event 6 (Playoffs)
The lowest NET score of Event 6 wins 100% of the Point Series payout ($1 from everyone in their division's entry fee in the first 5 events)
Event 6 playoff format
1st place in standings (if they play): Event 6 score MINUS 7 strokes
2nd place in standings (if they play): Event 6 score MINUS 6 strokes
3rd place in standings (if they play): Event 6 score MINUS 5 strokes
4th place in standings (if they play): Event 6 score MINUS 4 strokes
5th place in standings (if they play): Event 6 score MINUS 3 strokes
6th place in standings (if they play): Event 6 score MINUS 2 strokes
7th place in standings (if they play): Event 6 score MINUS 1 strokes
All other eligible players (have to play 2 previous events): Event 6 score with no adjustments.
We will be playing Grove Gold B pins
Event 6 will also have the same standard pro cash payouts as Events 1 thru 5. The playoffs are just to determine who wins the Pro divisions of the JSPS + playoff payouts
