The 2026 iteration of the Maverick Disc Golf Series will be two-fold. There will be a points series for a Divisional Prize and a separate points calculation for entry into the finale - Maverick Disc Golf Championship.
This is the
second part for the free entry into the Maverick Disc Golf Championship. If you have 12 points or more in this part you will get a free entry into the B-tier finale based on the division you have the most points in. If you have 8 points or more you will get a 50% reduction of the entry fee into the MDGC. All amateurs will still receive the entire player pack for the MDGC, even if they earn a free or reduced-fee entry. All pros will still receive all of the benefits of a B-tier (i.e. the same added cash) as if they paid a full priced entry. If additional events are added, they
will be included in this part. The points for this part will be as follows:
B-tier: 3 points
Two Round C-tier: 2 points
One Round C-tier: 1 point
PLEASE READ THESE DETAILS
The first part will have points awarded per Division and will be division specific. If you play in multiple divisions throughout the year, they won't transfer from one division to another. The awards for the Divisional Winners will be a very nice trophy.. The points for this part will be based on the number of players they beat or tie in their specific division.
A minimum of three events will be needed and
two players to meet that minimum in order for a Divisional Trophy to be awarded. Your top six events will count towards the trophy. More events may possibly be added, but the top six events will remain constant.
Events will have the following multipliers:
B-tier: 3x
Two Round C-tier: 2x
One Round C-tier: 1x
The final event, the Maverick Disc Golf Championship (MDGC) is not included in the Divsion awards. The awards will be given out during the MDGC tournament week.
