The ApeX Point Series is a series of disc golf events that take place in various locations throughout the Inland Northwest with players earning points based on their performance in each event.
The series culminates with the the ApeX Invitational where the top players compete for cash prizes and the title of ApeX Point Series Champion.
Each event in the series is played on a different course and features a range of challenges, including tight fairways, water hazards, and elevation changes. Players compete in various divisions based on their skill level and age, with some tournaments offering separate divisions for women and juniors.
The ApeX Point Series has become popular with disc golfers of all skill levels, with participants traveling from across the country to compete. The series has also helped to promote the sport of disc golf and raise awareness to the many benefits it offers, including physical fitness, mental agility, and social connection.
Overall, the ApeX Point Series is an exciting and challenging disc golf tournament series that showcases the best players in the sport in the inland northwest and provides an opportunity for players of all skill levels to compete and improve their game.
Returning to the roots of the series with league events coming back [resetXero], The 2026 ApeX Point Series will consist of:
3 Challenge events
7 PDGA sanctioned league events
4 Unsanctioned events
4 Sanctioned events
[18 events total]
Players will earn points for Participation in an event, Defeating other players in their respective divisions, Shooting a Hot Round, Hitting Aces and Placing on the Podium within their division.
PARTICIPATION-5pts
Each player will receive 5 points automatically for completing an event in addition to any other points awarded. (No participation points awarded for the 2026 ApeX Invitational)
VICTORY- 1pt
Each player will receive 1 point for each player they defeat in their division.
(Example: The player finishing 2nd place out of 10 will receive 8 points because 8 players are behind them)
HOT ROUND- 2pts
Each player will receive 2 points if they have the lowest score in their division. Hot Round bonus points are per round, so if an event has 2 rounds, then 4 Hot Round points will be available per division.
ACES- 10pts
Each player will receive 10 points for an Ace they hit during any event.
(10pts Maximum awarded per event)
PODIUM-
10pts = 1st place
5pts = 2nd place
2.5pt = 3rd place
Players will receive:
.5x for Challenge events
1x points for PDGA sanctioned league events.
1.25x points for Unsanctioned events.
1.5x points for the Sanctioned Tournament events
2x points for the 2026 ApeX Invitational {APS Championships}
To qualify for series champion, players MUST compete in and complete a minimum of 9 events in the same division consisting of the following:
4- PDGA sanctioned league events
2- UNSANCTIONED events
2- PDGA SANCTIONED events
1- APEX INVITATIONAL
While not required, the Challenge Events are 3 additional bonus events that players can play to earn some extra points. Challenge event points are permanent and do not fall off.
Final standings are determined by ALL
PARTICIPATION, HOT ROUND, ACE, and PODIUM points
as well as the VICTORY points earned for the top:

2- UNSANCTIONED events
2- PDGA SANCTIONED events
1- APEX INVITATIONAL
AS WELL AS ANY POINTS EARNED AT THE 3 OPTIONAL CHALLENGE EVENTS

After the Championships at the ApeX Invitational, the top 3 points earners in each division will receive a Custom Trophy, Cash Prize and be crowned Champions of the 2026 ApeX Point Series.

Starting with an added $3000 to final payouts (divided across all divisions equally per "qualifying players") a portion of each players PLAYER FEE from each event (excluding the ApeX Invitational) will go into the Prize Pool for their respective divisions. If there are no qualifying champions in a division, the payout pool will rollover to the ApeX Invitational Skills Games and Payouts.
100% of any Acepots not hit during 2026 ApeX Point Series Events (including FUNdraisers) will rollover to the payouts for the Series champion pools, skills games, and ApeX Invitational payouts.
