The Migration Is Here!!
About The Migration Series
-The Migration Series will consist of 5 events with a final 6th Championship event. The top 40% of points leaders in each division after the 5th event will be guaranteed a spot in the Championship Event ( only those who made the 40% cut are eligible to win the $500 tournament sponsorship ).
Registration will be open for everyone else once the top 40% are registered. You must play in the championship to win the $500 tournament sponsorship.
How the points work
-For stops 1-5, each player will receive 2 points for every person they beat and 2 points for every person they tie within their division.
-For the Migration Championship, each person will receive 20 points for every person they beat and 20 points for anyone they tie.
The player with the most points in their division at the end of the series will win FREE tournaments for the year 2025! ($500 value not limited to EPDG Events)
- If there is a points tie at the end, you will play a 9 hole stroke-play playoff (best score after holes 1-9 wins)
-If there is still a tie, continue playing until someone loses a hole.
Registering for the series
-When you register for the events, pay attention to where your rating is compared to the divisional cap for that division. If the cap is <935 and you are rated 930 and feel there is a possibility you would be forced up a division due to a ratings increase, the best thing to do is to move up a higher division from the start. If you are forced to move up a division halfway through the series you will NOT be able to take the points you accrued with you to a different division.
(you are allowed to register for a higher division but you are not allowed to register for a lower division to prevent sandbaggers)
- stops 1-4 are set, stop 5(oak ridge) is still pending park approval, and the migration championships is approved as a 2 day B-Tier at camp Tecumseh with the lower divisions playing Saturday and the higher divisions playing Sunday. Both days are 2 round shotgun starts.
Because this is a B Tier event, you must be a current PDGA member. If you are not, you will not be permitted to play in the event per the PDGA.
If an event is cancelled for any reason there will not be a makeup event.
