The Golden Sombrero Series is a collection of Ice Bowl and other charity events played in Southern California in the early months of each year. Players are awarded points based on the number of other players they beat at a particular event. A player's top 5 points totals are used to determine their place in the standings.

Traditionally, decorated sombrero hats are awarded for the following: 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in overall points; Most Points earned by a Female Disc Golfer, Most Events Played, Most Points Earned (All Events Played). We will be adding a Junior Sombrero in 2023.
