sorry if this has already been addressed, but why are these unsanctioned events?

We have found that not every event needs to be sanctioned. The pdga makes it hard for pop up events and prize regulations that takes money from the players and gives it to the PDGA instead. We just like to have fun and play some tournaments where you dont need a PDGA membership to play.
