Announcing the 2020 Maverick / Innova Points Series.
This is a 5-tournament mini series within the 9 tournaments Maverick DG runs. Innova Discs sponsors all 5 tournaments individually, and also the series as a whole by providing an additional $500 in merchandise credit at their Proshop.
This year points awarded are division specific, meaning if you earn points in one division (MA40), those points will not apply to another division (such as MA2 or MA1).

Calculation of awarding points:
Each player will receive this number of points for each percent of their division they beat.
Percentage calculation excludes the player being awarded, i.e. first place will have beaten 100%, therefore will get 100 points. Third place of ten players will receive 60 points for beating 60% of the field (places 4-10).
Each player that finishes the tournament will receive a minimum of 5 points.
The two B-tier tournaments that span 2 days will have their points multiplied by 1.5. So if the normal calculation would be 60 points, for that event you actually get 90 points.
You must complete at least 2 tournaments. Your top 4 points count towards your total for year end award.
At this point since it cannot be determined the number for players that qualify for a potential payout, there is not implied guaranteed that each division would have a payout. Ideally, each division will, but it's not guaranteed. It is guaranteed that at least $500 in merchandise credit will be distributed.
