Instead of the pine trees in the fairway that are there now there were palm trees. I actually hit off one of the palms that still had the palms tied together and shot out to the basket for the ace.

Its the hole with 6 palms in a half arc in front of the hole. There was no long position by the basketball courts back then.

aced this hole during Gentlemens club leagues. Yes the Gentlemen had leagues back in the day. I aced hole 18 the next weekend during leagues also. I was on fire.

Also hole 15 was the hole heading towards the volleyball courts back then, hole 10 now in 2010. Had to split the ace pot with Bill Schmitt.

I had just bought my first cyclone(green 175gram), and this was my first through with it. Loved the cyclone after that. Was throwing lightning plastic up till this point in time. Hole 3 back then is hole 15 now 2010 in the short position and the tee pad was about 30 feet to the left of where #15 tee pad is now.
