First off, original hole 16 (new hole 1) was the best tee shot on the entire course. Whoever decided to turn it into a 400’ straight shot just for the sake of pushing back original 15’s basket should be publicly shamed. This change is a tragedy. The new basket location for original hole 5 that makes it an 800’ par 4 is easily the best decision made with the redesign. Amazing hole. Well done. I truly have no idea what the designer was thinking when they made hole 15. You are literally ...

The new X1-X7 long tees make for terribly designed holes. The new holes in the field are good. The double mando hole is truly awful/gimmicky.

Will easily be the best layout in the area when finished. Holes 3/13 (13 hole layout) need some work to make them play appropriately to their par, but could easily be accomplished with some more clearing on 3 and maybe a shorter basket placement for 13 (the basket placement is cool but the hole plays realistically as a par 6). New holes are excellent and 1/2 are great starting holes for a layout. Excited for it to be finished. Nice to finally have a place to play that offers a style of golf eq ...

Rivers Edge is the perfect compliment to the gold layout at Devils Den. Mostly wooded holes, but with wide fairways that are generally pretty fair, and some nice distance. When the course isn't flooded it is great to play.

The Devils Den Gold layout is easily the best disc golf course we have in the state of Michigan. Legit par 4/5 throughout the course, with well designed and challenging Par 3's in between, it is the only true championship layout currently in the entire state. Personally I am not a fan of hole 8, but can't complain about the others. Park keeps the course in impeccable shape. This is truly our only professional facility for disc golf. Should be #1.
