I wish Terry's original design would have been implemented. Some decent holes scattered throughout. Woods holes are garbage. Speaking of garbage, it's all over the course, as the city of A2 doesn't provide trash cans. BROWN PARK!!!!!!

Joe & Co. have done a ton of work to make this a very fun course. There are some really fun golf holes on the property, which has been utilized very well. Over time this course will break in very well.

The last few holes don't flow particularly well, but are fun to throw.

Watch out for Front Butt. He may violate you.

First time playing. Not a great course. Not a terrible course. Pros: - Cool urban/wooded layout - Decent use of land given - Good balance of rhb, lhb, and straight holes - Hole 18 is one of the best golf holes I have ever seen - Cool structural obstacles on back 9 Cons: - Holes 1 and 2 are a joke - Open field holes play next to Lodge service drive and traffic is a bit distracting - Long walks between front 9 and back 9, hole 18 and parking lot - Couldn't find Hole #1 tee sign - ...

This course has it all! Old growth tree lined fairways, challenging pin placements, risk/reward holes, distance, technicality, elevation change, beautiful views, no Jeff-like, turd burglars harassing golfers from golf carts. Thumbs up!

I have played disc golf all over the US, and Flip City remains the best course I have ever played. This course will challenge the best disc golfers and will leave you wanting to play it again and again. Bill does an amazing job with grounds keeping and deserves much praise. Flip City is the best that this sport has to offer. When you play, don't forget to leave a generous donation.

The only down side to this course is it's temporary availability and mixed tee pads. This course will test your game with challenging pin placements and extreme wind on frequent occasion. When this course is in the ground, Independence Lake is one of few premiere disc golf destinations in SE MI.

Once this course breaks in over the next few years, it will be a must play for any SE MI bound disc golfer. The good variety in shots, tee pads, and pin placements, along with the beautiful and serene setting make this course a gem.
