Ladies and Gentlemen, the countdown is on and I am looking very forward to your attendance at Riverbend Park this weekend. Please follow here and on your email for updates that will be coming out in the next couple of days.
1. The courses are looking great (with the exception of a couple of holes on the North Course that will be done early this week) the pins are in their tournament locations. Maps will be posted here once I update and scan them.
Thanks to all of the Riverbender crew who have made that happen!
2. We will be using the Large Gazebo to the North as you enter the park for Tournament Central, plenty of parking and bathrooms nearby.
3. We have a tentative lunch vendor for burgers and pulled pork dishes, more info to come.
4. A disc vendor will be onsite with 600+ discs and gear, I will have a few boxes of discs to sell in support the NADGT tournaments.
5. As registration is closed, I have been able to make decisions re pools and order of the courses played. MA2 and MA3 will begin play on the South Course all other divisions on the North. After Lunch you will be playing the course unplayed. Your starting holes will be posted on PDGA.com by Wed eve at the latest. We will not be accepting day-of registations.
6. We will be using two formats for recording your scores, both PDGALive and paper scorecards will both be required, digital format will be official recorded score, but I want both complete and correct. I use paper scorecards to confirm digital scoring.
7. I wlll post a complete list of all obs and special conditions but for now: 2 meter rule, yes, all boundary fences, all concrete pathways, and the Beautiful Feather River will be out of bounds. Mark your lie where you went OB. 1 meter relief, take a penalty stroke and play on.
8. Riverbend is a well used park by the community and will be busy on Saturday. We have been playing at RB for 20 years this year, the ppl know we are out competing and having fun. With that in mind please be respectful and kind to the other park users. I often just walk up to people, tell them what happening, ask the to wait and watch, they love it...mostly, any problems please contact your TD @ 5307743004. I dont expect any issues and signs will be posted.
