Good afternoon and thank you for registering for the Star Frame Showdown Stop #3
Due to COVID protocol, there will be NO players meeting before the event. This email will act as a virtual players meeting. PLEASE READ THIS EMAIL CAREFULLY AS IT SHOULD ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to email them to me and I will find you an answer.
The schedule for this event is as follows:
5/16 - 7:45AM - 8:45AM - Check-in. You will be informed of your starting hole and given your players pack. You will need to follow all COVID/Social distancing guidelines while around Tournament Central.
PLAYER’S PACK WILL CONSIST OF A CUSTOM STAMPED DISC AND A STAR FRAME PINT GLASS
We will call two minutes at 9:28AM. Start will be called at 9:30AM.
All players will be starting at 9:30AM. Your starting hole will be posted on the PDGA event page located at https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/51073. Your starting holes will be posted no later than 8PM on Saturday 5/15. Your starting hole could update before the start of the event. Please be sure to check the event page after 9AM sunday morning.
LAYOUTS ARE AS FOLLOWS:
MORNING ROUND (MPO, MA1, MA2, MA40): NIGHTMARES
(FA1, FA3, MA3): DREAMS
AFTER NOON ROUND (ALL DIVISIONS): DREAMS
SCORING
It is our hope that every card uses the PDGA live scoring system. This is NOT the PDGA App.
You can access live scoring by going to PDGA.com/SCORES
The event code is: SFS2021
Follow the prompts to enter scoring for your card.
All cards should also keep a secondary scorecard. We recommend using Udisc. Paper scorecards slow down tournament processing times and we would like to not have to use them.
YOU MUST CONFIRM YOUR SCORES IN THE LIVE SCORING SYSTEM AT THE END OF YOUR ROUND BEFORE LEAVING THE TOURNAMENT AREA.
Round two tee time and starting holes will be posted to the PDGA results page. The start time will also be posted on the Star Frame Discs facebook page.
Great news! We will have a Taco Truck on site for lunch if you would like to buy lunch. If you would like something else, I would suggest packing a lunch to avoid traffic and delays.
Any form of littering, including cigarette butts will result in a courtesy violation! Please be respectful of the course!

All missed mandos are to be played from the Drop Zones
Hole 1 : Tall grass on left and right of fairway, gravel road, and painted line deep of the long basket (Nightmares Only) are OB (Dreams:Short Basket, Nightmares: Long Basket)
Hole 2 : Tall grass on both sides of the fairway is OB
Hole 3: No OB
Hole 4: OB island, Logged off section of the fairway is OB
Hole 5: Creek and Beyond is OB
Hole 6: Pond is OB, Creek is casual
Hole 7: Creek is Casual, OB on the right side of the fairway is roped off
Hole 8: Pond is OB
Hole 9 : Long grass and islands are OB (Nightmares and Dreams play Short Basket)
Hole 10: Roped OB left of fairway
Hole 11: No OB (Dreams plays to short basket) (Nightmares to long basket)
Hole 12: Fence line is OB, Tall Grass to the right of fairway is OB
Hole 13: Roped/Painted OB Left and Double Mando, If you proceed to the left of the mando trees but did not pass between them, your disc has missed the mando, and you must play from the painted orange circle by the mando trees.
Hole 14: Long Grass on both sides is OB, Pond is OB
Hole 15: Pond is OB
Hole 16: Pond is OB
Hole 17: All landscaped islands are OB, Creek is OB, Pond is OB, Mando Right of the Flag Pole
Hole 18: No OB
Hole 19: Mando Right of Mando Tree( Finger shaped sign), Roped OB on the right of fairway, (Long basket for Nightmares, Short basket for dreams.)
Hole 20: Roped OB on the right of the fairway
Hole 21: Roped OB to the right of the fairway/green, All Gravel is OB, OB lines are roped. (Long Basket for Nightmares, Short Baskets for Dreams)
