Welcome to the 2021 Southern Tier Open. I would also like to thank the hole sponsors for their

Now lets get to the details:
SAFTEY:
Face masks must be worn during check in and any time when social distancing can not be maintained.
Please maintain social distancing.
Do not handle other players equipment
Avoid contact with the baskets.
We are using live scoring via PDGA.com/score – password is sto17 one person
should maintain a paper scorecard as a back up to the live scoring. Below is
the link for information on live scoring. Make sure your scores are confirmed
before submitting and 1 person from your card confirms with the TD received

LAYOUT
We will be playing 2 rounds 18 holes rounds both PDGA Rated. a shot gun start at 9:00 am for round
1, Round 2 will be posted on line with hole assignments approximately 1 hour after the last card
finishes.
Round 1 & 2
Play the normal layout – Pins will be in the long positions.
OUT OF BOUNDS AND MISSED MANDOS
No 2 meter Rule
All Mandos are still required and marked, Go to Drop zone if missed.
Hole #1: Creek on right. Long of basket marked by flags / string. Must pass to the right of the
mandatory tree on left side of fairway. DZ to right of tree if mandatory is missed.
Hole #3:Creek and on and over road.
Hole #4: Creek on left - on and over road on right.
Hole #5: Creek on left surrounded by water on and over road on right. Proceed to DZ if OB on drive.
Play normal OB rules after drive.
Hole #6: .Private property on left
Hole #13: No OB – right of mando go to drop zone if missed.
Hole #16: Pond is OB – Go to drop zone..
Hole #17: Fence on left.
Hole #18: On and over road, including parking circle and creek on left.
Holes 8, 9 10,11, 12, 13 & 14 – the water on these holes are considered casual and a free drop no closer
to the basket is allowed with no penalty.
A group decision will decide in or out on close calls. Please give the benefit to the player.
PLAYOFFS
If there are any ties, we will start a playoff on hole #4 then #5, if required you would then go to hole
#12 – 18 until the tie is broke. The playoff will use the normal tees for all divisions.
AFTER ROUNDS ARE COMPLETE
Payout for the AMS will be a gift card from Dynamic Discs, please note that the value of the gift card
must be used completely when ordering. Any balance left will be forfeited.
PRO will be paid via PAYPAL using the email provided at registration.
Ace Pool. If multiple aces are scored the pot will be split. If no ace is scored, a throw off will be set
up.
