Competitors,
I am deeply sorry for the way the event finished today. I really wish it could have ended differently, but am so thankful for the gracious nature of understanding from you. I have some bad news for some, and possibly some good news for others. To begin with, all updates and results will not be finalized until tomorrow. My plan is to finish everything up tomorrow, but this is how the event will be "completed."
After working with our state coordinator and the PDGA tour manager, this is how the results will be finalized. Per PDGA rules, each division will be assessed by the last person to tee off and the number of holes that were completed. All divisions have to play the same number of holes and it has to be either 9, 13, or 18 holes. So, if an entire division completed all 18 holes, those final scores will be recorded and ratings assessed appropriately. If the final person in your division only played 13-17 holes, ratings and results are based off of the first 13 holes for everyone in the division. If the final person in your division only played 9-12 holes, results are based off of the first 9 holes for everyone in the division, and no ratings will be given for the event. At this point, it looks like everyone may have completed 9 holes and if so, the results of the event will be completed as so.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask them and I'll try to get back to you as soon as possible, but please know that it may not be until tomorrow.
Thank you so much for the generosity towards Zambia disc golf, this was a really great event and I hope to see you at our next one!

Once again, thanks for being there today, and hope to see you all on the course again soon!
