#1: CTPs!
Who doesn’t like a good ole CTP, and Twin Rivers is pretty much the hallmark of winning some free stuff. There are going to be 13 holes total for CTPs per round. This works out to 2 CTP holes per division and 1 “All divisions” CTP. Winners of the CTP will win one disc from the “Eric Hughes Private Stash.” I’ll have a mix of mostly used (but still great quality) discs stemming from Innova, Infinite, Millennium, Discraft, Prodigy, and Dynamic Discs. The CTP flags will be at your hole’s teepad, so if you are the first card out, make sure you grab it for that hole. As I mentioned, each CTP will be reset for the 2nd round. If you believe you have won a CTP, visit me in between rounds to select your disc.
The CTP Holes are listed below:
All Divisions — Hole 3
MA1 — Hole 6, Hole 7
MA2 — Hole 2, Hole 17
MA3/MJ18 — Hole 12, Hole 18
FA2 — Hole 9, Hole 13
MA40 — Hole 1, Hole 5
MA50 — Hole 8, Hole 16
#2 Ace Pot
Since there was no money collected for an ace pot amongst the competitors, I am going to put in $50 into the ace pot for our event. WOO HOO!
#3 Weather Conditions
Now the not-so-fun stuff. The weather looks to have the potential for rain, and I was notified throughout this week that there has been standing water on some tee pads. In that case, if there is standing water on the tee pad, you may elect to throw from up to 2ft on either side. I also urge that this is a group consensus if a player wants to do so.
