Larry- we sincerely apologize for your frustrations about the map and course rules. However, tournament information with course maps (with OB, mandos, and other "unique" play identified) were emailed out three times prior to the tournament. Due to both COVID AND the fact that we didn't want to kill multiple trees by printing caddy books- we were confident that our emails would be sufficient for players to understand the rules and how each course would play. We do know that multiple players kept our emails on their phones to refer back to during play. Regarding the Caddoa layout- we acknowledged the fact that there would be close play throughout the course- which is why during the players’ meeting that was addressed numerous times. Thank you so much for your feedback, as your comments could very well lead to some changes being made to the Caddoa course layout in the future.
