Hello,
The City of Austin Parks and Recreation Department has informed us that no permits will be issued for events in any city parks until fall. Unfortunately this has forced us to move all competition out of Circle C park. We have had to make a hard choice and move the second course to Swordstone DGC in Spicewood Texas, which is 35 miles NW of Austin. The schedule will be the same with Pool A playing Swordstone One time and Pool B playing it twice. The course will have a few modifications to better accommodate a tournament of this size. Practice times for Swordstone will be posted as soon as they are officially nailed down.
We had no choice but to move the second course to private property or not host a Pool B this year. Some have said that they would prefer for Pool A to play the Met Center Three times but that does not seem fair to Pool B players. We are all in this together.
We can chock this up to another Covid loss! We hope you understand. Next year we will return to our beloved Circle C DGC. Which is in fantastic shape, best ever! Thanks to the Circle C Disc Golf Club.
Sincerely
Ken Shepperd
