The Fescue's Edge Course is available for play tomorrow (Jan. 13th) and will close the following day. We will continue to improve the course based on all of your feedback. We have since installed short tee pads and some of the trickier long pads have been adjusted for optimal play. We will continue to update all of you with our progress over the coming weeks. Please see the course patch notes below.
Updated Course Patch Notes (V1.1):
| Hole 1 |
-Added longs pads, slightly adjusted basket position to make it more visible from the pads.
-Indicator for mando sign also installed.
-Drop zone has been built and is now correct.

-Shorts pad moved forward from original position, kept as a par 3.
-Longs pad moved back from the original position, kept as a par 4. Waiting for better weather to complete tee pads.

-OB altered on right to incorporate extension of hole 8.

-Shorts pad installed.
-OB lines well defined.
-Two sand traps no longer penalize player if you land in them (use them to try to get an eagle).

-Shorts and longs pad combined and moved to a slightly different angle to increase variety of shots available.
-Also pulled basket away from OB to be less punishing.
-OB has been more clearly defined.
| Hole 6 |
-Shorts has been added, removing water from the drive.
-OB has been reduced and more clearly defined.
-Basket has been moved slightly away from current OB to be less punishing for players.
| Hole 7 |
-Shorts pad added.
-Basket has been moved significantly further away.
-Hole now plays as a par 4, over 700ft from longs and over 400ft for shorts.

-Shorts has been added. Drop Zone has now been installed and is correct.
-OB has been added on the left to prevent interaction with hole 14.
-Basket has been moved across the bridge to a more suitable green.
-Hole now plays as a par 4.
| Hole 9 |
-Longs and Shorts tee pads are now combined and have been moved to a more natural position.
-Basket has also been moved to incorporate more utilization of tree structure.
| Hole 10 |
-Shorts and long pads are now installed and defined.
-Mando with a variety of shots available to the player has been installed.
-Basket position adjusted to be visible from the longs pad.
| Hole 11 |
-OB more defined.
-Longs installed to increase the difficulty.
-Hole is playing as intended.
| Hole 12 |
-Longs installed.
-Circle is now defined as 33ft from the basket position.
| Hole 13 |
-Remains unchanged, shorts and longs are in same position.
-Intention to change this to an elevated basket in the future.
| Hole 14 | Longs pad installed.
-Basket moved closer into a more interesting position, utilizing trees.
-OB has been placed on left to balance difficulty.
| Hole 15 |
-Longs added.
-Basket position changed.
-OB placed in front of the shorts pad and on the right.
| Hole 16 |
-Longs pad more defined.
-OB placed on the left with a mando to prevent play into future course design.
-Shorts pads installed completely bypassing the water.
-Basket location moved back.
-Hole has been converted into a tough par 4. (Considering making this a par 5 from longs)
| Hole 17 |
-Basket slightly adjusted to make it visible from the tee pad.
-Longs and shorts play from the same position.
| Hole 18 |
-Basket moved across the water from the clubhouse.
-Shorts pad installed approximately 150ft closer. Both positions play as a par 4.
Additional Notes:
-Numerous quality of life improving including cleaner tee pads.
-Better flow for traffic.
-Less punishing course when playing from the shorts positions.
Final Thoughts:
Although the government lockdown has delayed our events, we still plan on running them as soon as we're able to. We want to make each event challenging but more rewarding for players of all skill levels. We look forward to hosting many events with all of you. See you all very soon!
