Per the PDGA: Pro players may be able to compete in certain amateur divisions that they qualify for based on the PROS PLAYING AM table. This applies only to A, B, C, and L. To play MA1 Division the rating needs to be below 970.
Hannable McGarity Jan 2, 2021That’s a common misconception. Basically taking cash precludes your ability to play in certain AM events like worlds, but there are guidelines for lower tiered events that allow play.
