Ok thanks. Will I be refunded if no one backs out? Is there something special I need to do on the registration form? Also will we need to show up that morning to find out whether or not we can play or will we be informed before the morning of the event?

Full refunds will be granted if you don't make the event. You can always message me to see if you get in or not. You can also show up in case somebody doesn't show, but that's not too common doubles, but it does happen
