Asking for my buddy who recieved a MA3 invite.

He got an MA3 invite, played 1 MA2 tourney this year. He looks to be getting a ratings bump that will likely be above 900.

1. If he registers before Dec 6 for MA3 and then after goes over 900 will he just be bumped up?
2. Will he be able to compete in the championships at MA2 if he does get bumped up?
