Hello everyone. We're excited as the 1st annual Two Turkeys Tournament takes place at Jonathan Bye Memorial DGC in the Byesville Village Park. It's our second event since we opened June 1 of this year and both events sold out. We want to thank everyone for their amazing support. Tomorrow's event will help us raise the money to put in an additional three holes this off-season on the other side of Dawson's Creek.
Tomorrow's format is:
First 9 - Alternate Shot (1 player will tee off on the odd holes while the other player tees off on the even holes and you alternate throws until the putt is made.
Second 9 - Worst Shot (Both players throw each shot as the other team determines which is the worst shot...and remember both players have to make the final putt for the hole to be completed).
Third 9 - Best shot (Both players throw each shot and they will determine which throw they want to play and continue until a putt is made).
Fourth 9 - Combined shot (Both players play their own disc and keep score until both make their putts, and each score counts to the team total).
For those of you who played in the JBM Open, you will need to know that No. 7 and No. 8 doesn't have OB tomorrow. The only OB is on the road, in Will's Creek, or if your disc is submerged in Dawson's Creek. Mandos still apply on No. 1, 3, 5 and 7. Drop Zones will be painted. There is also a Drop Zone on No. 9 if you go out of bounds.
Payouts will be per man...$60 for first, $50 for second, $40 for third, $30 for fourth, and $20 for fifth. All payouts will be for gift certificates to Moore's Discs, who will once again be on-site all day. Each player will also receive a $10 coupon to Moore's Discs.
Remember, registration starts at 8:30 and concludes at 9:15. A player's meeting will be at 9:15 and Round 1 begins at 9:30.
NOTE: All players are asked to social distance where applicable.
Thanks and we can't wait to have a great tournament!!!
