You are receiving this email because you are registered for the Tillman Terror 3.
This email will serve as the player’s meeting for the Terror. Please ask any questions you may have at check-in!
First and foremost, thank you for registering for the Terror. It is one of my favorite events of the year and I’m excited to kick-off our fundraising season for the 2021 Three Rivers Open. As always, $5 from all players entry fee will go directly towards TRO 2021.
We officially sold out the Terror - great work everyone! I started this tournament in 2018 and we had just 40 people - this year we are up to 110!
We are going to have a packed course - so have patience all day.
Below is information for the Terror:
Schedule
• Player Check-In: 8:15 AM - 8:45 AM (BE CHECKED IN BY 8:45 AM - So you can get to your hole on time!!)
• Round 1 Tee-Off: 9:00 AM (Best-Shot Doubles)
• 1-Hour Lunch Immediately Following Round 1
• Round 2 Tee-Off: 1:00 PM (APPROXIMATE) (Alternate Shot Doubles)
• Awards Immediately Following Round 2

Tournament Format
• Round 1 is traditional Best Shot Doubles. Pool assignments and tees are attached. It will also be on the provided scorecards.
• Round 2 will be Alternate Shot Doubles. All divisions will be playing the white tees (except Holes 2 and 12)
Alternate Shot Doubles
Alternate shot doubles are a little unique - so here is how it works:
• Let’s say Bob and Tom are on a team.
• Bob and Tom start on Hole 1. Bob tees first.
• Tom then throws the approach shot.
• Bob then attempts and makes the putt. Bob and Tom score a 3 on Hole 1.
• Since Bob threw the putt - it is now Tom’s turn to throw on Hole 2.
At no point in the round can you reset - so strategize correctly!
Misc. Information
• Hole assignments will be provided at Player Check-In.
• Paper scorecards will be in use for the Terror.
• Each division will have 1 CTP.
• The OB list for Tillman is attached. Printed copies will NOT be available - so save this PDF to your phone.
• A bucket will be out at check-in for donations to the Tillman Park Course improvements fund. If you like the stairs, benches, info board and want to see continued improvement, consider donating!
• The top 40% of the professional division will receive cash prizes.
• The top 40% of the amateur divisions will receive “funny money” a.k.a. merch prizes.
• Ace Pool is at $243 and 50/50 is at $87. Attached is a list of folks who have paid into the ace pool and 50/50. If you want to buy in tomorrow, please bring EXACT cash.
• If the Ace Pool is not hit, I will random draw 2 folks using a random number generator and send the money via paypal.
• Payout tables are attached.
COVID Information
• IF YOU FEEL SICK, STAY HOME AND WITHDRAW FROM THE TOURNAMENT.
• We will NOT be doing a player’s meeting
• Masks will be required for check-in, awards, etc.
• Masks are required at any time where 6 feet of social distance is not achievable.
• Be kind - people have varying levels of comfort with the pandemic.
