That is correct. It’ll be refunded if the person doesn’t get in, with large waitlists it is better to do it this way so we don’t have to chase people down for registration fees. I’ve played events where I missed out because they gave a 24 hour window to pay when off the waitlist and I didn’t see the email so I had to jump back on the waitlist at the back of the line.
