Utah issued a state of emergency tonight:
Limiting casual social gatherings to household-only through the length of the order.
A two-week hold on all extracurricular activities, including athletic and intramural events, with the exception of intercollegiate athletics and practices, and games and training associated with high school championships that follow instructions for testing and limited crowd sizes.
Before I make any knee-jerk decisions, I am going to speak with local officials first thing tomorrow morning and let everyone know exactly what is going on as soon as I have the information. I understand there are travel plans that need to be arranged or cancelled depending on the decison. If you feel that, regardless of the decision, that you are not going to risk the journey, please let me know, and also understand that we have already paid many fees and recieved all players packs for the event. I always have a very lax refund policy compared to the PDGA, but may need to enforce PDGA policy due to the fact that so much money is already tied up
At any rate, we will keep you updated. If the worst ends up happening, we will offer muiltiple choices on how to reconcile your registration fees.
Thank you everyone!
