Thank you to everyone for the massive amount of support as always! I really didn’t expect us to cap this event, but it looks like people are excited for some BYOP Doubles action! We may have to do one of these on Sunday of Josie’s Journey Open weekend from here on! What an awesome weekend we have in store for us!
Here are a few reminders for Sunday:
Most of you have seen the DCSP course, but for those who haven’t, once you enter the park you will continue straight for 2 miles. Tournament Central/parking will be in the parking lot across from the restaurant.
Check-in is from 7:00-8:15 and we will tee off promptly at 8:30AM! Please be on time and watch your speed as you’re coming in the park! We will have the board set with hole assignments that morning at check-in. Also, we will be using traditional paper scorecards for both rounds that we will provide.
There will be a $5 ace-pot available on Sunday morning at check-in. There will be an ace-pot CTP on hole 3 that will stay up for both rounds. If no aces are hit during the two rounds, whoever is holding the CTP will win 50% of the pot with 50% going to the donation fund for Project Sweet Pea’s. If an ace is hit the CTP is voided and 100% of the pot is payed out.
We will have awards immediately after the completion of round 2. Once we are wrapped up for the day we will be taking the course down until next time! If you can stay for a helping hand that would be cool!
* We are very fortunate to have the opportunity to use DSCP for consecutive years. Let’s not mess a good thing up! Watch your speed, watch for walkers and others utilizing the park, and help keep the course clean! Another BIG THANKS to Rachel at DCSP, Clint Wright for all he does, and everyone else who played a part in making it happen. It was definitely a team effort!
