Well, we finally made it to the end of the Friday Eve Rattlin Chains bag tag league. Only one (1) more league night left. To think that this whole thing started with only ten (10) tags and we ended with 75 tags in total. It has been a CRAZY league and I hope Good Times were had by all. I want to Thank all of you that supported the league and came out to play.
I am debating on how to continue the Camo Crew for next year. I am strongly considering it to be by invite only since there were a number of players that only attended a handful of times and some that flaked out entirely. I do understand that players circumstances changed with the Pandemic and their lives. The idea for the league was to give us local Creekside players an opportunity to step-up our game in a singles league format but it has grown beyond that since. I would like to get input from the group on this since this is your league as well. So, reach out to Infidel with your thoughts. During the off season, I encourage everyone to continue to challenge each other for tags and then we shall see where things end up next year.
Just a friendly reminder, tomorrow night’s league play will be in costume for those that want to participate. It is not mandatory but just looking to start the Halloween Weekend on a good note. So, dig out your favorite and comfortable costume and let’s go Rattle them Chains!
Tomorrow nights league night will have an earlier start, so we will be looking to tee-off by 5 so please get their by 4:30 to check-in. Proud has taken the night off so we can make this happen so let’s send this league off with a BANG.
Unfortunately, I have not been able to decide how to send this league off right especially for the top players so again any suggestions send them to Proud. I have completed averaging out everyones scores so if you would like to know yours then reach out to Proud.
I want to Congratulate, Evil, for again taking the #1 Tag this past league night with a -12 for a score of 42. He can truly chuck a disc. However, will he be able to hold onto it for another week or will someone from the ranks come up to take that #1 tag from him, we shall see. It will be rather interesting with the course currently set-up as BIRDIE CENTRAL.
The Ace Pot is has grown to $220. I am hoping that someone, like Chowder, will hit that ACE on the final league night especially if it is their 1st Ace. Fingers crossed it will happen with all the short holes in place. But if no one hits it then we need to see what to do with the Ace Pot. There are a few options that have been thrown out which are to put it on a CTP, divide it amongst the top players, put it toward something for the league for next season or donate it to Proud for all his hard work he has put into the league. We could even us it to throw a BBQ for a league end. Since this is your league, let me know your thoughts and suggestions.
Now onto the league results:
Again, I forgot to mark who won the CTP’s but you know who you are and I hope that MULA went to a good cause or use. Congrats to all that won the CTP's last week. Since most of the holes are in the short position the CTP’s for this week will be as follows:
$1 CTP – Hole 1
$2 CTP – Hole 9
$3 CTP – Hole 13
Thanks again to all of you that keep bring the 1’s and 5’s. Those will especially needed this week since there is no ACE POT to make change from so keep bring the 1’s and 5’s. Otherwise, you could miss out on putting collecting a CTP.

So if you don’t have a tag then reach out to Proud before or on the last league night. If you miss the last league night and are still wanting your tag then reach out to Proud. Otherwise, if I do not hear back from those tag owners then those tags may be forfeited and used in the next Friday Eve Rattlin Chains league. Also, make sure that you inform Proud of the tag changes after you play someone for their tag. I am seeing individuals with tags that are not matching what I have on record. As long as everyone has a tag then we are all good. If you lose your tag this late in the league, well then you are SOL.
Thanks to all those dedicated Camo Crew members to come out to have a Good Time on Friday Eve. Looking forward to seeing you on the last league night before Halloween this week. Don’t forget your costume. Hope everyone has a good week and I will see you this Friday Eve (Thursday Night), CHALLS.
