ONLINE PLAYER MEETING
Thank you all for playing the 2020 Stony Creek Open. The ONLY sanctioned event at Stony Creek this year. The courses are cut to perfection, the colors are beautiful, the weather will be a bit brisk but dry and the tournament is full. It’s gonna be a great day for some golf!
Everything that needs to be said at a normal player meeting should be covered in the “About” section but I’d like to mention a few things here.

There is no physical player meeting this year. Be sure to check with us when you arrive and be at your hole by tee off. Scorecards w maps are available at TC and the booth. We also have free water, hand warmers and granola bars for you.
Digital Scoring. Please use a physical scorecard along with the digital scorecard for double checking or if there are signal problems. Definitely double check and verify your scores before submitting/finalizing them online. Also, we’ll have a physical scoreboard on site just in case of overwhelming technical difficulties. Access code for the digital scoring is “stony”.
Stony will be charging the daily $3 fee at the course.
“How long is lunch?” 2nd round tee times will be posted online when the last card comes in.
Any disputes should be decided by the group and remember, benefit of the doubt goes to the player and provisionals are your friend.
Please don’t group up and please wear a mask if you do.

Yep! Things are definitely weird this year with all the Covid precautions but good things are coming out of it for sure. This digital scoring for one. We always takes about how cool it would be to be able to see a leaderboard during the round! It’s great!! We’ve played many events using this but this is our first time using this to run an event so please bare with us.
