Event Details
As a reminder, we are in the middle of a pandemic. Please be sure follow safety protocols, especially during check-in and the player's meeting. This includes wearing a mask / face covering and practicing social distancing. Masks are not required during your rounds, but social distancing should still be observed. It is also suggested that you do not handle any other player's equipment, including discs, minis, towels etc. This means do not grab another player's disc out of the basket after they hole out.
Also, for this reason, digital scoring will be strongly encouraged. Details for this will be included in the Players Packet, including the code to access this app on the PDGA website. For reference, here is the link to enter scores:
https://www.pdga.com/apps/tournament/score/login
Scores can be entered by each player on the card or just one player on the card. This is the easiest way to keep scores and also gives automatic ratings updates. Paper cards will be provided to each group as well, but the digital scoring is definitely recommended. I will also use this PDGA app to assign holes for Round 2 on Sunday on Saturday night so players can check in the morning what hole they are scheduled to start on before heading to the course. But please keep in mind, that this may change if some player's decide to drop after Round 1. Check-in will still be required Sunday to ensure a player is present, but the player's meeting will be minimal and just simply to remind players of the layout. All the layout details will also be provided in the Player's Packet.
After Round 2 on Sunday, we will have a brief Awards Ceremony where trophies will be awarded to the Top 3 in each division. CTPS will also be awarded at this time and if there is still an ace fund, that will also be thrown off for most likely on hole 18 to keep us away from the main parking lot at the course.
