The Birthday Bash is upon us this Sunday! It's been a great journey this past year. The idea for the course began last spring. In a chance meeting at the house in front of hole 13, President Ed had expressed interest in installing a walk path or some "Frisbee golf" around the lake to Birthday Battle Bash Co-TD Matt Hill. Matt was new to disc golf at the time, but had a friend that was way into it....me, Jason Cummings. I met with Ed and walked the property and saw the potential. After a lot of research, wandering the property, and some careful planning, I proposed the original 11 hole, 11 pad course to the NL HOA board in a meeting in late spring. On June 25th the HOA approved the course. After some furious fund-raising, we dropped our first 11 pins and played our first round with dirt tee pads September 8th, 2019. With a year of hard work and determination, we've come a loooong way, now having 18 holes with both long and short pads, B pin positions, and our coming-soon Par 2 layout and signs. We've grown the course and the membership through the crazy year that has been 2020 and currently have over a hundred disc golf members and sponsors, and our course and community is expanding and improving daily.
I salute everyone over the past year that helped out, joined up, sponsored holes, played in a league or tournament, and spread the word about our cool little course. We couldn't have done it without you. If the Birthday Bash is your first tournament or first time playing at North Landing, we welcome you and hope you have a great time!

The weekend weather is on track to be fine, and we're looking forward to a great day of battlin' it out around the lake!
