We have an all-out-blitz work day coming up on Saturday, Sept. 26, starting at 9am. Meet in the upper lot behind the lodge with your work gloves. If you've been enjoying the course this summer, now is the time to pay it forward by coming out and proving how much this course matters to you and the local disc golf community!
The mountain bikers have recently finished their trail system. The disc golf course had to make various adjustments to accommodate the trail and deal with some new erosion issues. To help us with these adjustments, the bikers are rallying their troops to come help us create the new holes.
In COVID times, we have to be careful and help protect each other. So we will work in small groups on distinct tasks throughout the course. We will be outside and spaced out, but please bring a mask in case a particular tasks requires working closer together.
PLEASE REFRAIN FROM PLAYING DISC GOLF ON THE HARVEST COURSE ON SATURDAY.
Lastly, if you or someone you know has equipment that can help in clearing fairways, please let us know. All equipment is welcome, but wood chippers, brush hogs, and skid loaders would be incredibly helpful.
