Hey bee chuckers! Hope all is well. Few updates:
1. Chuckin Bees with B has it's first registrant (brave soul). We learned that the registration link was not working and I was able to fix it (score!). The registration will remain open for the duration of the clinic, people can register any time. The clinic will start this Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 8 AM at Mill Brook. We're starting early at the request of the lone attendee. Feel free to come by, hopefully we get some more attendees.
2. We scheduled the Swan Harbor Social with the Swan Harbor Farm (another score!). Date = November 21, 2020. More info will follow on the scene and other places on the interwebs. If you haven't played before, you will not be disappointed. I plan on cooking food, so the registration will include a lunch option. Club members will get a $5 discount. The Social is a non-PDGA event and the proceeds benefit the Harford County Disc Golf Club. The Social is already posted on the MD Disc Golf page (I think in Facebook). You don't want to miss this event!, tell your friends! Did I just hear someone yell, "Sooooccciiiiaaalllll"....?
3. Standing Workdays at Mill Brook. As part of the Mill Brook work crew, I offer to schedule standing workdays on the second Saturday of each month , starting around 11 AM (yes, after the clinic). Anyone with me? With the fall and winter coming, we can continue with course clean up and light maintenance. We have nine benches to install on the course and we should definitely get that done.
