32 people came out for a nice leisurely stroll through Deer Lakes Park on this past Labor Day in an attempt to tame the blue tees. Andrew Greenslade and J. Gary walked away with the hot rounds on the day, both shooting -7, 59s to take down the Open field while Anson Reppermund put down a -3, 63 to snag the win in Advanced. Mike McCormick ran away with the win in Intermediate with a +2, 68 and Lea Vasey dominated the women's division. Mike also walked home with an extra $25 for absolutely parking hole 17.
16 folks stuck around for the 2nd round doubles with 3 teams walking away with $10 credit for future weeks. Andrew Greenslade continued his hot shooting with Eric Driscoll as they put down a -15, 51 in the red/white/blue doubles format. The teams of myself and Scott Rogel and Dan Horwat and Cam Weber were right behind the leaders with -14, 52s to also walk away with credit for future weeks.
