Hi Matthew. With having two courses and three sets of teepads on each course, I started putting in these division caps so to make sure the entire card plays from the same teepad. This has worked very well the last couple of years doing so. To come up with the initial number, I actually averaged the number of players per division for the last COTL tourneys and then rounded up to the nearest "four.". I want to say MP40 averaged around 5. A week after registration opens, if there are open spots in some divisions I will adjust and may add more spots. So as always, I encourage any one who does not sign up before it fills up to get on the wait list.

Oh and to answer your question about carts on the message you sent, there will be no carts during play. PDGA rules states you have to have enough carts for everyone and Montlake golf club simply does not have nearly enough. The cost to rent enough is in the thousands of dollars which would drastically impact payout.
