Question. Right now I have a MA2 rating. If after the next PDGA ratings update, if I then have an advanced rating will i switch over to play advanced or does it go by my rating at time of sign up? Aug 5, 2020
Keith Overstreet Aug 5, 2020If you have pre-registered, the TD may allow you to remain in that division as long as the event is within two weeks of the ratings posting date.

John, if the TD for the July tournament you played submitted the results, your new rating will be out on August 11. That's outside the 2 weeks and if you pass 935, I will have to move you to Advanced.
Gabe Brown Aug 7, 2020Yeah, you threw a 951 and 970 rated round in your last tourney. I can see why you are worried your rating will go over 935.
