I guess we found the way to get people to stay after the round. Feed them. Thanks to Steve for providing the great Dearborn hot dogs, the buns, the chips, the table settings and the fire for the post round cookout in honor of National Hot Dog Month.
Speaking of hot dogs, congratulations to Dakota for winning the Mystery CTP. A gift card for $27.83 to Ray's Red Hots in Ann Arbor. (Dakota, when you go there, ask for Phil, he is the guy in charge. Thank him for helping with the Mystery CTP, tell him you really appreciate their assistance, you know, really GUSH on the guy and the shop. We really want to hook them in for more sponsorships next year, and beyond. They were kinda limited support-wise due to that silly pandemic this year. Oh yeah, since he too is a disc golfer, invite him out for a round. If you could do all that, well, that would be greeeaat!)
Sorry Trevor, you didn't win the cash CTP (I think everyone is beginning to suspect something) Jason won both the cash and the MVP disc from the prize vault. Master Belmas took home a bag of charcoal, also in honor of National Hot Dog Month. All he has to do now is get lighter and a grill and party at Jake's!!
August is Read-A-Romance Month. Chance here for bonus points for NEXT year. Read your book and get me a one page, double spaced, typewritten book report by the end of the calendar year and you could start next year with a 10 point bonus.
Also next week, clown noses.
I'd like to thank our corporate sponsors, Ann Arbor Distilling, Silver Spring Foods and (hope to have them hooked for next year, Ray's Red Hots, 629 E University, Ann Arbor, MI
Next week----Rolling Hills. If you have the bag tag, be prepared to show it at the gate. They were asking to see the tags a couple of weeks ago at Indy. Same park system, same rules? See you Thursday.
