First of all, I would like to thank Steve and Honorary League Director Pat Majher for the wonderful job they did during my absence. I heard no complaints, and, from what I can tell, no one was hurt and no blood was shed. Sounds like success to me.

This week we will be back at MBD. Ace pool over $400 and short tees. Don't hold back, they are all ace runs this week.

There will be a Mystery CTP with two winners. KInd of a dual theme going on. It is National Day of the Cowboy and also our celebration of National Farriers Week. One prize is cowboy related, the other farrier related. Winner has first choice. Both are not bad prizes.

I suppose you are curious about extra points this week. As Steve pointed out during our sugar cookie extravaganza, bonus points if you bring sugar cookies between now and the end of the season. Bonus points, up to 5, for wearing cowboy gear. REAL cowboy stuff, not Dallas Cowboys gear. Bonus points for carrying around a horseshoe (size is up to you) for the entire round.

Also, it is our Almost Mid-Season Awards Night with the presentation at the end of the round. In order for it to be the "real" Mid-Season Award Night, we would have to tabulate the scores and assign points for Thursday's round. That math is NOT going to happen. I don't wanna and I don't think Steve wants to either. So, the awards will be based on the standings going into Thursday's round. So please stick around after the round for the presentation.
