We continue to see our numbers grow! 34 people out last night for Week 3, including 13 new players. Keep spreading the word!
Last night featured some rainy warm-ups and some strong winds to start, but it ended up being a beautiful evening. The bipolar weather didn't slow down the scores though, as the team of Brody Cannon and Chris Kuhlman shot a scorching -17 for the outright win and $54!
Close behind was the team of Sean Martin and Nick Wohler. Sean's ACE on hole 2 propelled them into outright second place at -16, netting them $30 plus the $34 ace pot. Nice ace Sean! The bonus 5 point for the ace have shot Sean into the top 2 in the season standings!
Finishing in 3rd (-15, $18) and 4th place (-14, $14) respectively, were the teams of newcomer Eric Saechao and Scott Forester, and Jim Morris and Dominic Lombardo.
Four teams tied for the last two cash spots at -13! The team of Tyler Edington/ Matt Franke won the throw-off ($12), closely followed by Cole Redalen/ Bernal Bruns ($8); edging out the teams of Leandro Arca de Lange/ Darin McCoy and Logan Robinson/ Mike Purdy.
We featured a CTP prize of a Steamline Drift on the lengthened hole 7, which Albert Ricker won. Albert was quick to donate the disc back to the league, as well as a stack of other discs to be used throughout the year. Thank you Albert!
Hole 3 was also modified with an alternate pin placement of a bullseye basket. We featured a Discmania MD4 as a Longest Putt prize, which Jim Morris cashed from about 30'!
