July, for those of you keeping track, is National Horseradish Mont (thank you Silver Spring Foods), Watermelon Month and National Hot Dog Month.

This past week at Indy, we had a couple of returning winners and a newcomer walking away with all the glorious CTPs. Dakota walked away before we could give him is $9.00 in cold hard cash AND his T-shirt commemorating National Zoo and Aquarium Month. Trevor won the main Mystery CTP and new to TWIZBEE and A3, Jeremy won the box of Red Wing prizes that Mr. Nolff gleaned from his collection. Well done one and all.

This coming Wednesday, July 2nd, is World UFO Day. Come dressed as an alien from outer space (we are assuming they re the pilots of said UFOs) and get extra points. It is also the anniversary of the first solo flight around the world in a balloon. And, sadly, this is also the day that Amelia Earhart disappeared. And, I think it is also the day of the first test of the atomic bomb. Lots of "air" things goin' on. So, stick around after the round for a special event.

Skipping ahead a couple of weeks to the 16th. We will be debuting a new, what we hope to be, annual event. Homestate Heroine Night. The Mystery CTP will be a prize pack based on a famous Michigan girl or woman. At the end of the round, there will be a short trivia contest based on that person. With prizes, of course. So, study up on all the famous Michigan women and girls you can think of.
