Just a reminder...we have our League Finale this coming Thursday (weather permitting) with a 6:30 start time. This league night will be held at Faith Lutheran Church on Mentor Avenue (about 1 mile east of Mentor Mall and next to the James A. Garfield house) and utilize their 9 hole pitch and putt course for our final night. The format will be slightly different, with all 9 holes (stations) in play. We will still play 3 rounds, with 9 holes per round, and 3 shots per station. Most holes at the course are very short and equate to long putts. The holes that are over 75 feet will be shortened with flag markings. Scoring will be as follows and is very similar to a Birdie Bash Format:
3 shots per hole, with 1 point earned by hitting chains in the target area (not the number plate, lower basket cage, or bottom pole) and 3 points for making the putt.
This scoring will be used for all three rounds. Points will not escalate as the rounds move on.
Putter should be all you need, as there will be no shots over 75 feet. There is a hole where the best line is a forehand, so keep that in mind if that changes your putter selection.
