After continued conversations with the Kenosha County Parks Department it appears the tough decision to cancel this year’s Skyline Classic is upon us.
The county is not allowing any special event permits to be taken out at least through the end of July. However, even at the end of July there is simply no guarantee they will be allowing any in near future. The Wisconsin Tour and other PDGA events are all jockeying for available dates and weekends right now and this fall is going to be jam-packed with events offered almost every single weekend.
We realize other counties, municipalities and states are hosting PDGA events which is their decision. However, with the policies set forth by Kenosha County we have to respect their wishes and decisions until we can resume PDGA sanctioning at the Silver or Grey Fox Courses. Cold Turkey takes place in late November and there certainly still is hope for it to happen then but we’ll have to keep you posted.
Refunding more than 100 people manually will be a tall task but we will start on that later today and hope to complete it in the next day or two.
